Priest
Description
Keep yourself and your allies alive with powerful healing, and torment your enemies with divine wrath.
The Priest fights with mana and holds the party together: it heals, shields and strengthens its allies, and strikes with holy magic from a distance.
How it plays
Holy Wrath is the main attack from up to 10 spaces, Holy Commandment another strike, and Penance stuns the enemy while it drains it (a channel: every hit taken shortens it). To heal, Salvation heals one target, Spiritual Rejuvenation heals over 10 to 15 seconds and Prayer of Forgivness heals up to five party members at once. Protection of the Demigods shields a target for 10% of its maximum health, and Fortitude raises a player's stamina by 15% for 30 minutes.
What to train
Intellect for magic damage and mana, and Spirit for healing, magic critical strikes, absorbing magic attacks and regenerating mana. Stamina for health. Strength and Agility do little for a Priest.
Talents
One tree heals: Holy Presence (up to 10% stronger healing), Improved Salvation (faster to cast), Infusion (healing over time lasts longer), Improved Protection (stronger shields), Improved Spirit and after it Spirituality (less physical damage taken), and Omnipotence, a chance to get mana back on every cast. The other tree deals damage: Wrath (up to 15% more damage), Improved Holy Wrath (faster to cast), Improved Intellect and after it Pure Vision (more magic damage), Holy Vengeance (magic critical strikes), Excommunication (fewer spells absorbed) and Soul Purge, mana back on a killing blow. Playing alone, the damage tree levels faster; healing a party, the other.
Stats
What training each stat gives a Priest. How much grows with the stat; the game's training window shows it for your own character.

Spells
Every spell of the class as its spellbook lists it, with the level it is learned at. New spells and ranks are learned automatically on reaching their level. A number that grows with each rank, such as damage or cost, reads X: the spellbook in the game shows it for each rank and for your own character.

Talents
Talents cost 1 Talent Point a piece; a character receives 1 Talent Point every 10 levels. A talent under an arrow requires the one above it learned first. Every point in a talent adds the same again: 2%/4%/6% is what one, two and three points give.
